Kurdsat Broadcasting Corporation (Kurdish: کوردسات‎ Kurdsat) is the second Kurdish language satellite television station in Iraqi Kurdistan, has been operating since the turn of the Millennium launching on 1/1/2000. It belongs to the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and is based in Sulaymaniyah. First established following the Gulf War, Kurdsat was among the Kurdish satellite stations in Kurdistan. Kurdsat maintains a website for recent news and commentaries in Kurdish, Arabic and English. Since 2012 Kurdsat operated under supervisor of CEO Amanj Kamal Chalak and COO Deren Abdullatif Rashid.
