TV channel O2TV is a music and entertainment channel for young people, bright and informal. o2tv - television for thinking modern viewers who are interested in science and art, music and mass media. o2tv is a link between the viewer who lives in social networks and followers of TV-format. o2tv is young, original and fresh, like the audience for which it was created.
It began broadcasting on July 1, 2004. Initially it positioned itself as a music channel, and its broadcasting contained a lot of interactive entertainment and music programs.
In the fall of 2006 the channel carried out a massive rebranding and turned into a social and political TV channel. Political live talk shows appeared on the air, such as: "Master Class with Mikhail Leontiev", "Political Cocktail with Philip Leontiev", "Black and White", and "Talk Without Rules" with Nikita Belogolovtsev. However, Russian rock music continued to occupy the major part of the channel's airtime. The main musical project of the channel was the program "Take Live! - The channel's main musical project was the program "Take It Live!", in which iconic and little-known music bands performed live in the studio and answered questions from the audience and the hosts.
