CDN Deportes is a Dominican television network that broadcasts sports programming for the Dominican Republic, owned by CDN. Formerly known as CDN Sports Max. An alliance between CDN and SportsMax has made possible the emergence of CDN-SportsMax, which will broadcast 24 hours of sports content on channel 8 of Wind and TV-Claro, and on channel 28 of Telecable Tricom.
The first sports channel in the Dominican Republic was presented on Thursday, October 17, 2 during an event led by Mr. Manuel Estrella, Vice President of Multimedios del Caribe, and Olly McIntosh, General Director and CEO of SportsMax.
CDN SportsMax will offer international soccer coverage of the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup, at the end of October and other upcoming big FIFA events.
The CDN-SportsMax programming schedule includes locally produced programs such as “Golf Fever”, hosted by Félix Olivo; “Sports Center”, with Onfalia Morillo and Frank Prats; “Momentos de Boxeo”, with Carlos Nina Gómez, and “Deportes entre Nosotros”, hosted by Osvaldo Rodríguez Suncar. Reyes Guzmán, from the Variety program, will bring topics about wheels, engines, machines, all related to motorsports.
